Italy is famous for it's shoes, in fact the shape of the country is like a boot. The comfortable and good design shoes are create by the technology gained through a long experience and history.

In fact in the late 40's, Italy was the center of footwear in the world. Just looking at Italian shoes you could know the footwear fashion during that period. Besides the shoes, Italian bags are also very popular in the world. The most of them are produced by family-owned or small businesses, but they support enough the economy of Italy.

As long as there are cheaper Asian products, it is difficult to win the price competition for Italian, but the artisan spirit of Made in Italy is forever. Although the number of industrial products are increasing even Made in Italy, many of them still produce the shoes like hand made.
